This Privacy Policy explains how Mantita Games processes information when you play Witchcraft! (the “Game”) or visit the Witchcraft! website (the “Website”).

1. Who is responsible for your data

Mantita Games, S.L. is responsible for the processing described in this Privacy Policy. We are based in Valladolid, Spain. For privacy questions or requests, contact hi@mantita.games.

2. Information processed in the Game

The Game does not require a Mantita Games account. It does not ask for your name, email address, or payment card details. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google. We do not receive your store password or payment card information.

When you play, the Game may process information that is not linked to your identity:

  • Usage information, such as product interactions and other information about how the Game is used.
  • Diagnostic information, such as crash reports, performance data, and other diagnostic data.

If you use Apple Game Center, including achievements, Apple processes the related profile and game information under the Apple Privacy Policy.

We do not use information from the Game for third-party advertising or remarketing, and we do not sell it.

3. Information processed on the Website

The Website does not require an account. We may process information that you voluntarily send us by email and limited technical browsing information generated when you visit the Website.

With your consent, Google Analytics may process page views, browser and device information, referral source, and approximate location derived from IP-based signals.

The Website shows the Mantita Games newsletter sign-up form, provided through EmailOctopus. If you join it, we process your email address, consent choice, subscription time, and technical information collected to prevent automated abuse, only to email you about new games and studio news. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email. Full details are in the Mantita Games Privacy & Cookies notice.

4. Why we process information

We process information to:

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Game and the Website.
  • Understand how the Game is used, diagnose errors, and measure performance.
  • Provide Apple Game Center features that you choose to use.
  • Measure general Website usage and improve its content.
  • Respond when you contact us.
  • Send the Mantita Games newsletter to people who join it.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar laws apply, we rely on the legal basis appropriate to each activity:

  • Performance of a contract when processing is necessary to provide the Game or a feature you request.
  • Our legitimate interests in keeping the Game and Website secure, reliable, and improved, provided those interests do not override your rights.
  • Your consent for optional analytics cookies and for the Mantita Games newsletter. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.

Usage and diagnostic information in the Game is processed with the tools built into the Game for those purposes. Apple processes Game Center information as described above. These providers may process information in other countries. Where a provider acts as an independent controller, its own policy also applies.

7. Website cookies and consent

Analytics cookies are optional. You can accept or reject them through the cookie banner shown on the Website, and you can reopen your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

If you reject analytics cookies, we keep analytics disabled for future visits in this browser and try to clear existing analytics cookies that are under our control. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on the Website.

Pages that show the newsletter form also load Google reCAPTCHA, which may use cookies or similar technologies on Google domains to protect the form from automated abuse. It is not used for analytics or advertising by Mantita Games.

8. How long information is kept

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including security, support, legal, and accounting requirements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the settings of the relevant service provider. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to retain it.

We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe, as described in the Mantita Games Privacy & Cookies notice.

9. International data transfers

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, those transfers are protected through an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To exercise a right, email hi@mantita.games. We may need to verify your request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

11. Children

The Game is rated for older children and is not directed at young children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, the Website, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date shown above.
